Vancouver Island Powerline was founded and registered as a Limited Company in 1993.

In 1994, a branch office was opened in Campbell River, BC, which enabled effective coverage of Vancouver Island.

The company is 100% Canadian owned and operated with its head office located in Victoria, British Columbia.

The principle activities are construction, distribution maintenance, and providing service and support for the BC Hydro power systems.

With a reputation for a strong commitment to challenging projects, Vancouver Island Powerline has undertaken a tremendous variety of work from design-build to utility contracts.

Vancouver Island Powerline also provides service and support for the Department of National Defence.
