Hot Springs Cove

The Hesquiaht community of Refuge Cove, which is informally known as Hot Springs Cove, required a complete upgrade of its existing distribution system.

This small village located on Hesquiaht Harbour on the west coast of central Vancouver Island is only accessible by floatplane or boat.

After weeks of careful pre-planning, our equipment and material were loaded on a barge in Tofino for transportation to Hot Springs Cove.

Due to the pre-planning, the installation of the power system was completed on schedule to the complete satisfaction of the Hesquiaht community.
