Island Powerline is proud to announce our ISO 14001 certification.
Deloitee & Touche confirms that Vancouver Island Powerline’s
environmental management system conforms to all the requirements
of the audit standard, and officially certifies that Vancouver Island
Powerline is compliant.
ISO 14001:1996 requires companies to develop and document a  method
for identifying, controlling, monitoring, and reviewing the ways
in which the company potentially or actually interacts with the
environment. This is accomplished by implementing and Environmental
Management System (EMS).
ISO 14001 requires companies to create a system that integrates
environmental considerations in every level of the company.
